Chairman resigns at listed marketing automation firm dotdigital

AIM-listed dotdigital Group has announced the resignation of non-executive chairman Richard Kellett-Clarke.

The company, which provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology and tools for digital marketing professionals, said in a statement that the board had accepted his resignation which is due to “private matters in his other directorship”.

Milan Patel, CEO of dotdigital, thanked Kellett-Clarke for his work with the company.

“I would like to thank Richard for all his tremendous efforts at dotdigital and all the help and support he has given the Company and me in the past eight years,” said Patel.

Kellett-Clarke did not provide a statement.

Co-founder Tink Taylor will assume the role until a full-time replacement is made.

The London-based company, founded in 1999, said it is accelerating its efforts to find a new chairman.

Last year co-founder Simon Bird stepped down from the board to pursue other business opportunities.
