IT and cloud services provider HyperGrid has appointed a new chief financial officer as it gears up for its next phase of growth.

Robert Taccini has joined the company, which is headquartered in California with additional offices in Berkshire and India, during a period of “rapid expansion and growth”.

He joins HyperGrid from VCE Company, which specialises in converged infrastructure for private, public and hybrid cloud environments, where he served as CFO.

Taccini has previously served in executive-level finance positions at Cisco and held senior roles in several tech firms including LightStream and BBN. He began his career at KPMG.

“We selected Bob to be our next CFO as he brings experience in strategic planning, pricing, portfolio management, go-to-market operations and across IT systems and IT services,” HyperGrid chief executive Nariman Teymourian said.

“He has the leadership and know-how we were looking for as we expand our burgeoning customer and sales channels. As a CPA, Bob understands global strategic planning and we expect him to succeed in his new role at HyperGrid.”

Taccini added: “I feel fortunate to join a company on a growth trajectory like HyperGrid.

“I look forward to working with management to continue the company’s commitment to delivering value through a scalable financial approach and profitable growth.”

HyperGrid is described as an enterprise cloud-as-a-service leader that simplifies IT by providing a fully featured public cloud service delivered as a full stack appliance in enterprise data centres.

The company’s HyperCloud product offers compute, storage and networking services, along with an enterprise app store.
