Cyber security start-up Titan Labs is expanding its team with the addition of two new specialists.

Simon Crowe and Gergana Marincheva are set to join the company, which develops automated software to help overcome cyber security skills shortages and reduce the need for small firms to hire specialist staff.

Crowe joins as a software engineer and brings five years of coding experience with knowledge in big data analytics and machine learning, which will feature in Titan Lab’s future development work.

Marincheva, a computer graduate from University College London, also joins as software engineer. She already possesses strong practical experience in backend web applications and is skilled in C++ and Java.

Rob Brewer, Titan Labs’ director, said: “With a new product launch, big name client wins coming into view and future development work we need talented professionals to continue our progress.

“In Simon and Gergana, we have the skills we need to accelerate product development and progress into areas such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.”

Director Tom West added: “There is a real need for small firms to protect themselves from the growing security threat.

“Recruiting professionals of the calibre of Simon and Gergana will help us develop software that enables SMEs to protect themselves.”

Headquartered in Malvern with new offices opening in Milton Keynes, Titan Labs will soon be launching a cloud-based cyber security software called Titan View.
