A farmer’s son from Lancashire, David is the founder and current chairman of the Tangerine Group.

The Tangerine Group is a £20million company employing 140 people and headquartered in Lytham, Lancashire.

It comprises three divisions, Veterinary, Equine and Farm Animal, with wholly owned subsidiaries in Dublin, Barcelona and Dusseldorf. The company now distribute their products in 48 different countries through a network of exclusive distributors.

In 2007 he decided, with friend Dai Davis, to take over local football team, Kirkham & Wesham who went on to win the FA Vase one year later at Wembley.

Renamed AFC Fylde in 2008, they have gained promotion four times in the last seven seasons and are now playing in the Conference North.

David’s aim is to get Fylde into the Football League by 2022.

David is also very patriotic and heavily involved in charity work. In 2009 he launched the first Lytham St Annes St George’s Day Festival and over the last six years has raised over £85,000 for charity.
