Energy breakfast to hear from sector experts

Tackling rising energy prices will be one of the subjects being discussed at a special event in Manchester on March 2.

The Manchester Energy Event takes places at The Lowry Hotel and will hear from a panel of industry experts and leading companies.

Hosted by energy procurement specialist Businesswise Solutions and supported by DONG Energy and Water Plus (the newly merged retail arm of United Utilities and Severn Trent) the speakers include representatives of major business energy users from the property, retail and hotel sector.

Chris Hughes, property portfolio manager at Matthews & Goodman; Colin Bell, head of procurement at Daisy Group; and Rebecca Noon, facilities manager at ao.com; will be joined by Paul Miller, head of customer solutions at DONG Energy; Neil Sullivan, head of corporate services at Water Plus; Mike Taylor, strategic manager at Electricity North West; and Adrian Ellis, general manager at The Lowry Hotel and chairman of Manchester Hoteliers Association.

The speakers also include Frazer Durris, managing director of Businesswise Solutions and Peter Haslop, technical director of  British Plastics Federation.

The event runs from 8am-10am and is being help in association with BusinessCloud. It’s being hosted by the magazine’s editor Chris Maguire.
