Fast-growing IT firm aiming to double client list

A start-up IT firm which has achieved Microsoft ‘Silver Partner’ status has outlined ambitious growth plans for 2018.

North Wales and Cheshire firm Highstream Solutions was founded just one year ago but already provides service and support to 29 SMEs in the region.

The leading outsourced IT and managed print provider was set up by IT specialist Paul Williams and is a registered partner of Dell, providing hardware directly to its clients.

The collaboration with Microsoft means it is also now able to offer bespoke service in conjunction with Microsoft software packages and cloud solutions to small and mid-market businesses in the region.

“We’ve had an incredible first year in business – signing new clients and agreeing strategically important partnerships – and, now we’ve had a taste, we have some really bold ambitions for growth,” said Williams, who formerly led IT services at Chester’s Great Bear Distribution.

“We’re confident about our ability to scale our business. Big brands and SMEs in Cheshire and North Wales are coming directly to us because they’ve been failed by their existing IT provider, or they’re looking to save money by outsourcing their IT provision.

“And with IT being critical to the success of almost every company, it’s smart business to make sure it’s working as hard as possible.

“But also, it’s not just about the tech. Business owners and IT leaders are looking for that personal touch and a relentless focus on doing things right and providing the best advice, quickly.

“It’s how we’re winning new business and shaking up what is a very competitive market.”
