Manchester-headquartered multilingual text analytics and big data company Hello Soda has recorded huge growth in the US.

Since opening its office in Austin, Texas, last year, the company has continued to support and grow its client base in the region, with its US operations now making up 30% of the business.

In 10 months, it has secured seven contract wins and increased its headcount.

It continues to acquire an average of three new clients per month and expects the region to take over from Europe as its biggest market within the next 12-18 months.

Stand-out US wins include a multinational insurer and a US-wide financial institution.

James Blake, CEO at Hello Soda, said: “We had identified the US as a key market from the beginning.

“We made the decision to expand into this area relatively quickly and it’s a calculated risk that has certainly paid off.

“There has been exceptional demand for our big data and text analytics solutions in the market and it shows no signs of stopping.

“Our success here, and across all of our offices, is testament to our innovative, hard-working and cohesive team.

“We place huge importance on making Hello Soda an exciting and fun place to work in order to attract the most talented minds in the industry, and this is something we will continue to invest in.

“The in-house R&D team work tirelessly to enhance, adapt and evolve our product range. We have some extremely clever innovations in the pipeline and we’re looking forward to sharing these with our customers in the US and beyond.”

Hello Soda’s success has also resulted in the expansion of its stateside team, with two newly appointed business development and sales managers, and aims to increase headcount to 10 before the end of the year.

The company, which is headquartered in Manchester, also has offices in Bangkok and India, meaning it is able to provide a truly global, 24/7 service to its wide portfolio of customers.
