Knutsford-based technology and home automation company Intecho has seen solid year-on-year growth as Internet of Things (IoT) tech continues to gain popularity.

The company is a provider of intelligent building technologies, helping users automate their home through changes in light, ambiance and temperature.

It has seen 30 per cent year-on-year growth following rising demand for IoT solutions, allowing it to grow its team by five in engineering and project support roles.

Working across the UK, including London, Manchester and Glasgow, the company recently added high-profile hospitality venues The Ivy, Sexy Fish Restaurant and Annabel’s night club to its roster.

“As the reality of smart homes and buildings becomes tangible, we’re seeing unprecedented demand from the hospitality sector as it too looks to deliver the intelligent and reactive environment consumers are increasingly expecting,” said Intecho director and co-founder Paul Murphy.

“Our new appointments will help to bolster our team enabling us to continue to drive forward our ambitious growth plans, as we aim to become the go-to supplier of highly sophisticated building systems both within the commercial and high-end residential markets.”
