One of the highest-profile women in the North West business community is the latest big-name speaker confirmed for BusinessCloud's Lancashire Powerhouse conference on April 19.

As well as being the head of corporate projects at Stobart Group, Kate Willard is the chair of Atlantic Gateway; chair of Liverpool City Region’s digital and creative board; and vice chair of Liverpool City Region Superport.

Willard joins a stellar line-up of confirmed speakers at the half-day conference, which will shine a light on Lancashire’s business credentials.

The event forms one of the main events at the annual St George’s Day Charity Festival, which is organised by entrepreneur David Haythornthwaite, chairman of Tangerine Group.
