Bleep UK has installed its electronic point of sale (EPOS) and payment solution at Preston North End in time for the new Sky Bet Championship season.

The roll-out started at Deepdale in July with the hospitality lounges, bars and executive boxes in all corporate areas of the venues being completed in time for the kick off against Queens Park Rangers.

A number of fast service food kiosks in the concourse of the Sir Tom Finney Stand have also been upgraded, complete with integrated contactless payments to ensure fans get a speedy service, with reduced queues and waiting times.

This deal with North End and Heathcote & Co, the event and stadia catering firm run by celebrity chef Paul Heathcotec marks a busy summer for the award-winning point of sale technology supplier.

Bleep has recently won the contract for Wolverhampton Wanderers FC's Molineux stadium, which is currently being installed, as well as an install at the Emirates Old Trafford for Lancashire County Cricket Club.

"Preston North End and Heathcote’s are just the latest in a long line of football clubs, caterers and stadium operators who want more from their EPOS and Payment solutions in their hospitality, concourse and retail environments," said Bleep UK managing director Gordon Bolton.

"This is just the start of an exciting ongoing project to help improve service and fans' experience, providing a stadium solution suitable for the top flight."

Since undertaking a similar project, Bleep claims that Middlesbrough FC have seen increased revenues and spend per head though reduced waiting times and enhanced payment options.
