Mindspace is set to open its first co-working property in London at the contemporary Relay Building at Whitechapel, a few minutes from the City and Shoreditch.

Opening its doors in December 2017, the new location will span two floors and over 30,000 sq ft to accommodate 700 members working for global enterprises, small-to-medium-sized businesses, technology start-ups, entrepreneurs and freelancers.

Founded in 2014 by Dan Zakai and Yotam Alroy, Mindspace operates 13 co-working spaces across Europe, in locations such as Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Tel Aviv and Warsaw.

More than 50 per cent of members have reported building commercial relationships with other Mindspace members.

Dan Zakai, co-founder and CEO of Mindspace, said: “We’re excited to announce the arrival of our first co-working space in London, the most advanced market for co-working in Europe.

“Mindspace solves for an unmet need of many London-based businesses for a cosmopolitan, high-end, and generous coworking offering.

“At Mindspace London, companies and community members will get everything they need to grow their business and keep their teams happy, at the highest possible quality, from a caring team of Community Managers, and without being asked to pay extra for every little thing.

“I expect Londoners will be pleasantly surprised with the Mindspace new standard for co-working.”

Among Mindspace’s members are world-leading brands such as Barclays Bank, Samsung, SAP, M&C Saatchi, the TechStars Accelerator, Euronews and Cheetah Mobile.

The company offers an upscale, professional co-working environment with boutique-style offices and meeting rooms, service from community managers, fully-stocked kitchens and supporting technology.

Mindspace’s first co-working space in London will be located at the Relay Building on Whitechapel High Street, directly above Aldgate East tube station.

It will be working with local artists and designers to reflect the local urban area within its space.

Mindspace offers a range of events to members to help upskill them in areas such as business financing and dealing with the media.

There is also the option for businesses to work in multiple Mindspace offices across the globe at no extra cost.
