The ground floor of Manchester’s much-anticipated XYZ Works co-working space is now open, offering flexible desk space and a host of benefits to FinTech, digital and professional services entrepreneurs in the heart of Spinningfields.

The site offers a premium co-working space from £75 per month with ‘try a month for free’ offer.

Members of XYZ Works can benefit from the onsite Benugo coffee shop, free WI-FI, meeting rooms and exclusive networking events.

Chris Reay, Spinningfields estate director at Allied London, said: “We’ve worked closely with start-ups to create an environment that lends itself to collaboration, creativity and facilitating new connections.

“I’ve lost count of how many visitors have come in and commented on the fantastic space we’ve created and I can’t wait to see it evolve and become a thriving community of likeminded professionals.

“We’re proud to have created a great offer to those starting out in business.

“People can make use of affordable, flexible desk space with an adjoining Benugo coffee shop, can book meeting rooms at the touch of a button and get access to exclusive networking events which could open doors for those starting out.

“It really represents a great opportunity to join the fastest growing eco-system of tech enabled businesses in the city.”

The ground floor is the first area to officially open as part of XYZ Works which represents the evolution of flexible work spaces.

It will provide state of the art co-working options for budding entrepreneurs, sole traders, start-ups and SMEs. XYZ Works will officially open in late October.

XYZ Works has opened its doors for businesses to establish themselves in the Spinningfields district which is home to over 165 commercial organisations, 14 retail outlets and 33 restaurants, bars, coffee shops and eateries.

So far XYZ Works has attracted companies such as Cowgill Holloway and FinTech start-up Delio.

Level G and the first level of the 240,000 sq ft XYZ building is the first of a series of co-working clubs to be launched this year across the North West and London under Allied London’s All Work umbrella.

XYZ Works is running a special opening offer, allowing interested members to trial the space for free for one month.

Steve Bailey, community manager at XYZ Works, said: “We’re confident that people will love the space, atmosphere and the working environment at XYZ Works, so much so that we’re offering a complimentary one-month trial of Level G to anyone interested in becoming a member.

“It’s ideal for creative entrepreneurs starting out on their business journeys and looking for a premium space that matches their aspirations.”

Members at XYZ Works will benefit from conveniences such as bike storage, private phone booths and software discounts, as well as access to some of the city’s best and most bespoke meeting rooms and event spaces such as, ‘Agora’, an amphitheatre space for presentations and a mini lecture theatre space called ‘Knowledge Wedge’.

The soon-to-open Vault area on Level One has been designated as workspace dedicated purely to FinTech companies and is set to be the first such space in Manchester.

Membership of XYZ Works also allows access to the other clubs in the All Work network. To enquire about membership of XYZ Works please visit www.xyzworks.uk or contact: [email protected] 0161 974 3290.
