Managed cloud service provider Timico has appointed experienced industry professional Kevin Linsell as chief technology officer.

The appointment comes as the Nottinghamshire-based company undergoes a period of investment and growth to strengthen its management team following a £50m injection by Lyceum Capital earlier this year.

Prior to joining Timico, Linsell held senior director roles at Computacenter Group, Datapipe Europe and Adapt Services.

He has a proven track record and extensive experience in product design, architecture, marketing, strategy and fostering client relationships.

In his new role Linsell will be responsible for the strategic development and delivery of market strategies, development of the product portfolio and fostering strategic partnerships, while leading, coaching and developing the product management team.

His particular focus will be client facing; undertaking senior technical and strategic engagements with key customers alongside partner engagement.

“I am delighted to be joining Timico at such an exciting and important time as it embarks on a new era of growth,” Linsell said.

“I have a passion for technology and the role it can play in an organisation’s success. Working with an exceptional team I intend to deliver a compelling, market leading proposition and roadmap for Timico as a leading provider of cloud technology, transformation programmes and outstanding customer service.”

Chief executive Ben Marnham added: “We are thrilled to have Kevin on board as part of an exceptional senior management team as we look to an exciting period ahead for Timico.

“Kevin’s passion and commitment are representative of Timico’s ethos and we welcome his expertise in delivering client focused thought leadership.”
