Now Healthcare Group sees growth after arrival of new CCO

Europe’s largest digital healthcare provider Now Healthcare Group (NHG), based in MediaCityUK, has appointed Emma-Jane French as Chief Commerical Officer to the board to lead on commercial and strategic development.

The group has seen significant growth following her appointment.

French has over 25 years’ experience in the health industry and was previously MD of My Clinical Coach, a healthcare start-up direct to consumer service.

Prior to that she was COO at Totally Health responsible for commercial, strategy and operations for a private healthcare business operating in the NHS.

In only three years since launching, NHG has disrupted the digital health market with its innovative tech and digital solutions and is predicting by the end of 2017 they will be supporting upwards of 20million people across the world.

French said: “I am really pleased to have joined the Now Healthcare Group and be part of the journey to deliver digital healthcare services to everyone, anywhere and at any time.

French has devoted more than 25 years to the field. She has worked closely with a range of NHS commissioners and providers across England supporting the development and delivery of many complex programmes and designing innovative services.

She has lead complex change management programmes, business development and being accountable for collaborative strategic approaches. Her commitment to healthcare services and innovation have been recognised at national level in 11 awards over the past three years.

Previously she ran her own company, working closely with a range of NHS commissioners and providers across England supporting the development and delivery of many complex programmes and designing innovative services.

She has extensive experience of developing healthcare services that meet the needs of the population and creating commercial opportunities to bring technology in to traditional health care pathways.

Her proven track record includes healthcare start-ups, leading complex change management programmes, business development and being accountable for collaborative strategic approaches.

NHG recently became the first provider its field to be reported to be delivering by safe, responsive, effective, well-led and caring with no improvements recommended, by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the government’s regulatory body for healthcare services.

All doctors working for the platform are MRCGP-certified and hold current contracts with the NHS.
