Security software firm Avecto has announced record financial results for the first half the financial year.
The Manchester-headquartered company has seen 83 per cent year-on-year growth and recorded its biggest ever quarter in booked orders for the period October to December.
The business, which has offices in Boston, USA and Bad Homburg, Germany, has recently increased its global headcount to 200 and aims to increase this by a further 20 per cent over the next six months.
Avecto was recently named an official Northern Powerhouse Partner, helping to champion northern technology talent in the UK and overseas.

The company’s cyber security products are used by a top consumer goods manufacturer, a global consultancy firm and Fortune 500 technology company.
Last year the company, based in 30,000 sq ft premises at Trident, Manchester Airport, was listed as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
