Edge Testing Solutions, the independent software testing company, has secured 10 new contracts valued at over £1m across sectors including retail, finance, education, utilities and the public sector.

The multi-year agreements cover a variety of software testing including managed, functional, performance and automated testing, undertaken both onsite and remotely from Edge’s digital test hubs in Glasgow and Birmingham.

The contracts are among a number of new developments at Edge Testing that have taken place this year, including the opening of a second digital test hub in Birmingham, reaching 250 employees and celebrating its 10th year in business, among others.

“Our strategy to provide clients with a pool of UK-based testers is paying off,” said founder and CEO Brian Ferrie.

“We are growing faster than the market for software testing, and this is primarily down to the people and processes we have put in place to deliver software quality services that are competitively priced and well-resourced.

“Edge Testing’s experienced management team is leading our expansion across the UK, and we are looking to continue to grow from our current base of 250 employees through the remainder of 2017 and 2018.”

Edge’s new clients include: Griffiths Waite, Sage, Your Housing Group, a high street retailer, Scottish energy supplier, contract caterer and qualifications body, in addition to existing clients such as Big Lottery Fund and Student Loans Company.

The company anticipates over 30 per cent growth in FY17 and is forecasting revenue of £20m by 2020.
