This month’s biggest tech events (Jan 16 – Feb 10)

Technology

Tech investment bank GP Bullhound will present its tech predictions for 2017 at a roundtable in Manchester this week.

When it comes to technology they’re the oracle and every year they produce a list of 10 predictions for the year ahead.

On Tuesday (January 17), in Manchester, they will reveal how 2017 will be the year of artificial intelligence in their 10th annual technology forecast.

Digital Catapult will also explore how machine learning can be used to measure, understand, predict and increase happiness, in a hackathon at their London HQ starting today.

On Tuesday, pro-manchester’s Managing Stress and Building Resilience Breakfast will hear from guest speakers who will share their personal journeys of hope, recovery, and resilience in the face of depression and anxiety.

BusinessCloud’s next event is titled The Future of Manchester’s Digital Tech Scene, and will be held at the UKFast Campus in Hulme, Manchester, on January 27.

Manchester is the biggest digital tech cluster in the North with a growing ecosystem of tech entrepreneurs and scale-ups, co-working spaces and accelerators, investors and business angels, and accelerating business growth organisations such as the Business Growth Hub.

The Hub and BusinessCloud have joined forces to hear from some of the digital tech businesses across Greater Manchester and meet some of the local entrepreneurial talent.

Here is a round-up of events in the North West and throughout the UK over the next four weeks. Check beck for an updated diary.
