Sherry Coutu CBE, Jacqui Ferguson and Melinda Matthews have joined the judging panel of this year’s Northern Tech Awards.

The three tech leaders join a roster of influential judges, who will select the overall category winners from a short-list of fast-growth innovative businesses.

Tech investment bank GP Bullhound’s annual awards, which recognise and celebrate the region’s biggest tech success stories, will take place on 22 March 2018 in Edinburgh. The deadline for entries is 23 February.

The annual event celebrates tech firms that have had at least three years of revenue growth with a minimum level of turnover of £500,000 in 2015.

“Sherry, Jacqui and Melinda have been critical to the exceptional growth of the digital economy in the North of England and Scotland,” said Hugh Campbell, managing partner at GP Bullhound.

“The region is home to exciting companies leading world-class innovation in the tech sector.
