Transforming healthcare with tech
Wednesday 23rd November 2016 at The Lancastrian Suite Chorley Town Hall Market St Chorley Lancashire PR7 1DP - #healthtechconf
BusinessCloud’s ‘Transforming healthcare through technology’ conference and exhibition will look at how the emerging customisation of healthcare is allowing the public to interact with the health system in more ways than ever before.
Wednesday 23rd November 2016, 8am–12:30pm
The Lancastrian Suite, Chorley Town Hall, Market St, Chorley, Lancashire PR7 1DP
A digital revolution is occurring in healthcare. Wearable technologies, 3D printing and the increased presence of telecare are pieces of an increasing health technology jigsaw - and one that is only going to gather pace as the sector comes under pressure to be more efficient.
Only two per cent of people engage with the health and care services digitally, but technologies such as health apps can allow individuals to take greater control of their own health and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.
This conference will bring together professionals and the public from across the health and care system to discuss and debate how technology innovation can improve outcomes, maximise resources and empower the patients.
