Every year a quarter of people in the UK will experience a mental health problem – but only a fraction of these will feel able to talk about it.
For some there’s still a stigma around mental health – especially in the world of business - but it’s starting to disappear as people start sharing their own experiences.
Now BusinessCloud has joined forces with business psychology firm Carter Corson to hear first-hand how people have dealt with their own mental health problems and from a number of experts in this field.
Sam Jones, co-founder and managing director of Tunafish , will speak about his anxiety attacks. High-profile businessman Vikas Shah will speak about his own battle with depression to raise awareness of mental health.
The event will also look at some of the warning signs, coping mechanisms and hear how employers are responding.
