Entrepreneurs and mental health
Tuesday 10th April 2018 at UKFast Campus, Manchester, Greater Manchester, M15 5QJ
This event runs from 8.00am (7.30am registration) till 11.00am.
A quarter of people in the UK experience a mental health problem each year while one in six people will suffer from a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week.
Despite the numbers there is still a stigma around mental illness, with many victims preferring to suffer in silence rather than speaking out.
Juggling the pressures of running a business can make entrepreneurs even more vulnerable to specific mental health problems but many often don't recognize symptoms of depression, passing off the way they feel as stress.
Exactly six months out from World Mental Health Day on October 10, BusinessCloud will be holding a special event for entrepreneurs to share their own experiences with mental illness in their own words.
