Manchester-headquartered digital adoption solutions specialist AppLearn has expanded its presence to Boston as part of its international growth strategy.

AppLearn has opened a new office in Downtown Crossing, Boston, starting with a sales team. It has an existing base in San Francisco.

The new team, based in the firm’s fourth office, will be responsible for driving sales across the US market.

This news follows a $25m investment into the company in 2019 from California-based K1 Investment Management and the promotion of its co-founder, Andrew Barlow, from director of product strategy to VP, advocacy and innovation.

In his new role, Barlow will work with organisations to help maximise their investment in technology, and will apply his expertise in the digital adoption process.

“Over the last year, we’ve focused on growing AppLearn’s strength in every area, from building our talented team to expanding our innovative software offering,” said CEO Mark Barlow.

“With our new hub in Boston, we’re perfectly placed for the next phase of international growth, empowering even more organisations to achieve true digital adoption.

“We look forward to 2020 and beyond as we help more global brands realise and maximise the potential of their technology investments.”
