Paris Saint-Germain have become the first football club to launch a verified account on Dongtu.
The micro-content platform has been likened to Giphy and is the largest platform of its size in China.
Dongtu has 75 billion views per month and is integrated into more than 3,000 apps, including messaging giant WeChat.
PSG have already had hundreds of thousands of Gif views since launching last month.
Users can share the content in messages, comments and on other social media platforms.
Sebastien Wasels, PSG’s Asia Pacific managing director, said: “By launching on this account, we’ll be able to make even more club content available to our fans.”
Grant Long, co-founder of Dongtu, added: “We’re excited to offer the Dongtu platform as a single touchpoint for Paris Saint-Germain across thousands of new Chinese apps to engage millions of potential fans.”
