Automation software firm appoints new CRO to expand DevOps

Automation software firm Puppet has announced the appointment of Paul Heywood as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Heywood joined Puppet last year as Senior Vice President of International Sales. The firm said he had been instrumental in closing strong sales quarters, scaling out its team and developing relationships with key partners such as Dell.

Previous to Puppet, Heywood was the VP of Worldwide Sales and Business Strategy at Oracle under their Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Group, and sits sits on the boards of Cardiff software firm DevOpsGroup and Manchester investment firm York IE.

Heywood brings 20 years of experience in the sector from IT infrastructure, SaaS, cloud computing, and IT-managed service providers.

He will be responsible for accelerating Puppet’s growth and overseeing the company’s corporate development, sales and revenue management across the globe.
