Boohoo has swooped to buy eCommerce fashion firm MissPap.

Boohoo Group bought the brand and intellectual property assets of the women’s clothing etailer for an undisclosed sum.

MissPap joins PrettyLittleThing and Nasty Gal in the stable of fast fashion brands owned by Manchester-based boohoo.

Rocketing sales at PrettyLittleThing saw year-to-date revenues climb 114 per cent last year and close on those of boohoo itself.

MissPap was reportedly planning to appoint a liquidator before the sale to boohoo.

Launched in Burscough, West Lancashire, by Ashley Ali four years ago, MissPap is focused on ‘celebrity-influenced and impulse-led fashion’.

“MissPap is a brand with great potential, which can leverage the group’s expertise,” said John Lyttle, CEO of Boohoo Group.

“This acquisition further strengthens our multi-brand platform, representing an exciting opportunity to accelerate our offering to our ever-growing range of customers globally.”
