BusinessCloud launches 101 FinTech Disrupters

Technology

The search is on to find the UK’s 101 top disrupters from the world of FinTech.

FinTech is changing the world of finance for consumers, from the way people bank, arrange their insurance and pay for things.

FinTech now employs more than 60,000 people and is worth £7bn to Britain’s economy – which is why BusinessCloud is shining a light on the disrupters and innovators of the sectors.

We’re on a nationwide quest to find the 101 FinTech Disrupters for our upcoming list which will feature in the next edition of the magazine.

Whether that’s individuals shaking things up in a traditional organisation or a company set up solely to disrupt the arena, if you’re using tech in any way to innovate within finance you could follow in the footsteps of our HealthTech Pioneers, 35 under 35 and 101 Female Founders to take your place in the BusinessCloud Hall of Fame.

The potential for the sector is huge, levelling the playing field for bootstrapped SMEs, helping users manage their finances more effectively and breathing new life into the UK’s economy. By showcasing the nation’s most exciting FinTech disruptors we hope to help them achieve those goals.

Send in your nominations now – deadline for entry is June 22.

BusinessCloud editor Chris Maguire said: “I don’t think there’s a more disruptive sector than FinTech and that’s why BusinessCloud wants to recognise the individuals and companies who are shaking things up.

“The world is moving towards a cashless society so the level of innovation and disruption is only going to speed up. Cryptocurrencies aren’t going away so if you’re doing something amazing in the world of FinTech we want to hear from you.”
