Carfinance 247 bolstered by new CTO

Car finance broker CarFinance 247 has bolstered its executive team with the appointment of Ryan Bryers as CTO/CIO.

Bryers was ranked as one of the UK’s top 100 CIOs by Computing Magazine joins the company.

The CTO/CIO role is new to CarFinance 247 as it moves tocapitalise on a market that is moving online.

At Worldline, Bryers was UK & Ireland CTO, an executive position leading IT strategy, assurance of solutions and the introduction of new digital methods.

The Manchester-based business invested £2.5m in its head office and IT infrastructure.

Bryers will focus on evolving the company’s digital status from part DevOps to full DevOps, developing a high-performing team, introducing AI and automation, as well as establishing ways of working that will ensure that the business’ IT offer is future-proofed.

As the company looks to build out its IT provision, it said it plans to add to the ranks of its tech team with a host of new roles. Its recruitment drive has started in earnest with 10 roles currently available across its developer, mobile, digital marketing, project management and UX / UI teams.
