Oxfordshire-based Sophos Group has confirmed that its CFO Nick Bray has resigned as a director of the company with effect from 6th November.

Bray, who began working at the firm in September 2009, will remain in the role until 15th November 2019.

Bray announced the resignation in July, and said at the time: “I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished as a team.

“While this kind of decision is never easy, I leave the company both financially and operationally strong, and with a bright future ahead of it.”

In a statement released today, the firm said “The company wishes to thank Mr Bray for his contribution and wishes him every success for his future endeavours.”

Sophos supplies cybersecurity solutions to mid-market businesses and SMEs. It currently has more than 400,000 customer in over 150 countries. It floated in 2015 for £1bn.

Last month it was announced that the London-listed cybersecurity firm is to be bought by US private equity firm Thoma Bravo in a deal worth £3.1bn.
