Cloud services provider Calligo has expanded its business in the UK with the opening of a new office in London.

The firm has also appointed Ross Worthington as managing director to support and grow its client base across the country.

Other key hires that have been appointed are GDPR strategy consultant Chris Petrie and business development manager Charlene Manning, who will both join Worthington and chief commercial officer Adam Ryan in the London office.

“Our push into the UK is in recognition of the size and opportunity of the cloud market in the UK and is a natural next step given the strong client base we already enjoy in there,” said co-founder and chief executive Julian Box.

“The London office is further evidence of our commitment to building a lasting presence in the UK and to delivering our unique blend of cloud services where privacy, performance and customised service are at its heart.”

Founded in 2011, Calligo provides ‘privacy-conscious’ cloud solutions to businesses across the world.

The company works with hundreds of clients worldwide from its locations in UK, Jersey, Guernsey, Switzerland, Singapore, Bermuda, Luxembourg, the US and Canada.

Calligo said it will continue to grow its presence in the UK with further hires in the coming months.
