Founded in 2010, Huddersfield-based Control F1 provides consulting, digital development and IoT technologies across sectors including a worldwide patented software system for driver recognition.

It was acquired by Intercept IP, also based in Huddersfield, in August after Intercept IP was backed by former Dragons' Den star Theo Paphitis and ex-F1 driver Mark Blundell.

Control F1 has partnered with Sony, Amazon’s AWS, and Cyber Essentials Plus, and works with the government’s Innovate UK scheme.

Its main office is supported by a second in London.
