Having exceeded its £13.4m funding target in 2017, Creavo Medical Technologies has found promising support from its shareholders, which include the University of Leeds – from which the company was first spun out.

The Leeds-based company uses ‘magnetocardiography’ technology to capture the heart’s minute magnetic signals non-invasively, and test for the symptoms of illness.

It is conducting trials in America and has a development centre in Coventry.
