Global data protection company Commvault has opened a sales office in Leeds to serve its growing customer base in the North of England.

Commvault has customers in both the private and public sector including several NHS hospital trusts, borough and county councils and universities.

The office at Princess Exchange has space for future hires as it foresees further growth in the area.

“We are thrilled to have a base in the North, which will help us deliver increased value to our customers as well as nurture our partner network,” said Commvault’s sales director for the North & Ireland Malcolm Sheils.

“Our unique technical capability has allowed us to capitalise on the market across EMEA.

“We are seeing a lot of interest in the Northern part of the UK. Since I joined the team over a year ago, the Northern commercial territory has grown significantly.

“The sheer growth in the North is the result of our ever expanding technical capability, and we are excited to service our customers and partners with support.”

Commvault is a leading provider of data protection and information management solutions, helping companies worldwide activate their data to drive more value and business insight and to transform modern data environments.
