Dell appoints manager of Northern Irish operations

Northern-Ireland based Mark Hopkins has been appointed general manager of Dell Technologies’ Northern Irish operation.

A former sales director with BT, he will lead the computer firm’s commercial business from Belfast.

Dell Technologies operates from offices in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, working across sales, services, operations, IT, finance and solutions development. A number of the sales team are also based in a Belfast.

“I am delighted to take up the role of general manager at an exciting time for Dell Technologies in Northern Ireland,” said Hopkins.

“As emerging technologies accelerate the pace of change within the sector, there is a significant opportunity to help drive business transformation and generate real results for customers here in Northern Ireland.

Hopkins’ has 20 years of experience in tech communications, and previously served as public sector and Northern Ireland director at Dell Technologies Ireland after eight years with BT.
