Hybrid IT services provider Ensono has promoted Paul Morris as its European managing director from his current role as COO for European operations.

Morris, who has more than 30 years’ IT leadership experience and was formerly chief operating officer at Attenda prior to its 2016 acquisition by Chicago-based Ensono, will be responsible for the firm’s strategy and growth across Europe.

Jeff VonDeylen, CEO of Ensono, said: “Ensono’s mission is to deliver technology services that enable our clients to be great at what they do. With Paul’s track record, we are confident he will succeed on that mission, while driving strong growth in the European market.

“Ensono is going from strength to strength in Europe and Paul’s vision and leadership will continue moving the business forward.

“I look forward to watching Paul drive Ensono to the next stage of its journey as a global Hybrid IT services provider.”

Ensono’s head of hyperscale Brett Moss told BusinessCloud last week that SMEs must deal with the global digital skills gap by 2020.

In his time as COO of Attenda and Ensono, Morris led the business through five consecutive appearances in The Sunday Times’ 100 Best Companies to Work For, illustrating the strength of the business and its culture.

He said: “Ensono is at the forefront of digital transformation, enabling clients to achieve efficiency and new routes to market by operating and optimising their IT infrastructure.

“Success requires the right culture, the right people and a focus on results. I am proud to say that Ensono is outstanding on every front and I am delighted to be leading such a talented and committed team in Europe, building on our history of success.”
