Vaioni has opened its new office in the Tomorrow building at MediaCityUK in Salford Quays.

The internet service provider is targeting £20 million turnover in the next three to five years after making the move from Salford University Business Park.

The company behind the Vaioni Ethernet Network, which is making a multi-million-pound investment into the UK’s connectivity, has enjoyed year-on-year growth over the last four years while revenues increased 27 per cent this year.

This has led to a 30 per cent increase in the number of staff to 33, while that number could rise to 70 if growth plans come to fruition.

The new 5,000sq ft office has been designed by Atul Bansal, managing director at Shelia Bird, and features a full-size bar, war room, work-pods, wellbeing room, collaboration hubs and games area in the kitchen including a full-size pool table and a virtual reality gaming area.

“This is another very exciting and incredibly proud moment for our business,” said Vaioni Group managing director Sachin Vaish.

“MediaCityUK is by far the most innovative and leading hub, housing some of the best brands in the UK, and signifies what our business is about.

“The new office has been designed for our employees and has been shaped by their feedback following one to one and group sessions. It will allow us to become more collaborative, increasing our ability to innovate.”

Launched in 2016, Tomorrow forms a thriving part of MediaCityUK’s digital, tech and creative community and is home to a variety of innovative enterprises including ISG, RB, Zeal Creative, Carbon Creative, StreamAMG, Audio Always, Global Capacity, Extravision and Fuzzy Duck.

Lynn Haime, asset manager at MediaCityUK, said: “Vaioni is a real success story and is going from strength to strength.

“We’re delighted to welcome such a dynamic business into the MediaCityUK community and their commitment to relocating here is testament to the high-speed connectivity we can offer and the endless opportunity to collaborate and innovate alongside other cutting-edge enterprises.”
