A global supply chain services provider is relocating its UK office to tech hub Here East.

APL Logistics will occupy almost 9,000 sq ft of space at the award-winning campus located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London.

It will operate from offices alongside companies such as Neopost, LC2 and Plexal. The latter is Here East owner Delancey’s innovation centre and the base for over 100 companies.

Here East is home to a curated community of tenants, spanning start-ups, global corporates, creative businesses and academic institutions.

“The move to Here East marks an exciting milestone for APL Logistics,” said APL Logistics UK MD David Ashcroft.

“The business is constantly growing and being in the logistics industry coupled with provision of technology solutions meant that moving to Here East was a natural fit for us.

“The ability to access and be part of the cross-sector innovation at Here East will allow us to continue to innovate and expand our business. We are looking forward to becoming part of the campus in the near future.”

APL Logistics designs and operates smart globally integrated supply chains, combining origin and destination logistics solutions with transportation services across all modes and regions of the world.

Gavin Poole, CEO of Here East, said: “Our aim for Here East has always been to provide a space where large global businesses are able to work alongside and collaborate with academic institutions and scale-ups.

“APL Logistics’ decision to join our tech-focused campus shows their dedication to innovation and interest in collaborating with like-minded companies.
