Comparison website GoCompare has appointed a new independent non-executive director.
Headquaurtered in Newport, South Wales, the board of the group has welcomed Nick Hugh.
Hugh was the chief executive officer of the Telegraph Media Group since June 2017 and was previously chief operating officer from Janury 2017.
Since joining TMG, Nick has overseen the group’s data-led “registration-first” strategy and its investment in technology, data and high-quality journalism.
Hugh has almost 20 years’ digital experience with companies such as Yahoo!, BT and advertising technology specialist Phorm.
“I’m delighted to welcome Nick to the board of GoCompare,” said Sir Peter Wood, Chairman of GoCompare.
“Nick has a vast amount of experience working with companies in digital, marketing and media and will provide invaluable insight to our strategic and operational aims, including the delivery of our Savings as a Service strategy.
