A Manchester-based Google Cloud based service business has added 12 graduates to its team.

CTS, which employs over 100 people at its recently expanded offices in central Manchester, London, Belfast, Edinburgh, and across a global remote workforce.

The graduates have been handpicked to strengthen the company’s Google Cloud Platform offering. They join CTS as the company undergoes a sustained period of expansion, including its merger with Dutch data science and machine learning experts Qlouder.

The group were recruited as part of a graduate scheme programme organised in partnership with QA Consulting, and will bolster the CTS team’s current capabilities while adding to the strong foundations that the company has built for the future.

“A key priority for us as we continue to expand is to recruit exciting young talent that can lay the foundations for the future of the company,” said James Doggart, chief executive officer at CTS.

“This commitment is the reason why we’re currently the only fully dedicated Google Cloud partner that operates a full graduate scheme.”

Theo Christophorou, one of the new recruits, who holds a first-class degree in Computer Science.

“It’s a proud moment for me to join CTS following the completion of my studies,” said Christophorou.

“It’s a move that opens huge opportunities in the field of machine learning, a topic I focused on in my final year dissertation, and that’s something I’m really excited about.

“Manchester has a fantastic base of tech companies looking to attract new graduates, but it was important for me to join an organisation with a positive company culture, and one that fostered the ambitions of its staff with development opportunities.

“I believe that’s what I’ve found at CTS, and I’m incredibly excited to be a part of the team.”
