The matchday experience for Portsmouth fans is set for a boost after the club signed a new deal with Onecom.
The Hampshire-based telecommunications provider will be the official telecoms partner for the next five years and provide the club with the latest technologies in business communications infrastructure, helping to achieve significant improvements to efficiency at Fratton Park.
Pompey are flying high at the top of League One – a situation that Onecom group CEO Darren Ridge hopes to see continue.
“I’m a lifelong Pompey fan. We’ve always been there for the club; always loved watching the team in action, but even more satisfying is being involved with the club as a sponsor,” he said.
“Like everyone, we’ve got high hopes for the forthcoming season. It’s been a great start, so hats off to all concerned. Now we’re looking forward to some outstanding football and strong results.”
Onecom is the UK’s largest independent business telecoms provider, managing more than 325,000 mobile connections and delivering communication services including fixed line, mobile, broadband and cloud computing services around the UK and employs over 400 staff nationwide.
