How do you market your business after GDPR?

Five speakers have been confirmed for BusinessCloud’s upcoming ‘How to market your business after GDPR’ event taking place on May 16th.

The General Data Protection Regulation becomes law on May 25th 2018 and will radically change the way companies can collect and use consumer data – with maximum fines for offenders being a whopping €20m or 4 per cent of the company’s global annual turnover.

Critics have described the legislation as ‘draconian’ but supporters insist it’s an opportunity for the UK’s marketing teams to cleanse their databases and build more trust amongst audiences.

On the eve of the new legislation coming into force BusinessCloud will be holding a paid-for event on May 16th entitled ‘How to market your business after GDPR’.

Rather than fear GDPR a panel of experts will share their secrets on how businesses can market themselves effectively in the post-GDPR world.

What are the golden rules that marketers need to live by to stay on the right side of GDPR?

What is the correct way of obtaining consent from consumers? What are the dos and don’ts when navigating the GDPR minefield?

Those are just some of the questions that our panel of experts will be answering at the breakfast event.

The line-up currently includes Vibe Tickets managing director Luke Massie; Gavin Wheeldon, CEO of tech firm Purple; UKFast marketing director Kristina McGuirk; Tim NG, chief operating officer at Now Healthcare Group; and Ricardo Seixas, head of digital at Media Agency Group.

Places are strictly limited and tickets cost £45 (+VAT).
