IT jobsite Technojobs to incorporate blockchain technology

Job website Technojobs is partnering with blockchain technology start-up APPII.

The APPII platform allows individuals to create career profiles which are verified using blockchain technology, while Technojobs has served as a specialist site for IT jobs since 1999.

The two companies will integrate with each other’s platforms this year.

“We are delighted to partner with APPII and recognise the major benefits the features on APPII’s blockchain platform will bring to Technojobs candidates and clients,” said Anthony Sherick, director of Technojobs.

“We are very excited about what this partnership will achieve in the months and years ahead.”

Technojobs claims blockchain-verified CVs will provide benefits to employers in the quality of candidates and therefore reduce the cost and time to hire and on-board. It also aims to shift the focus away from candidates’ career history and towards their future potential.

Gary McKay, managing director and founder of APPII, said: “Our partnership with Technojobs will allow APPII members to apply for jobs with our blockchain verified CVs for the very first time.

“Their investment will support future development, including launching an industry leading blockchain technology solution to democratise recruitment and transform digital identities.”
