Jake Mills is an award-winning stand-up comedian and writer. In recent years, Jake has become a well-respected advocate for improved mental health provision in the UK.

Described as the "Dalai Lama of Mental Health" by Davina McCall, Jake is a high in demand speaker, with him delivering keynote speeches across the country as well as regular appearances throughout the national media.

Jake founded and is now the CEO of national mental health charity, Chasing the Stigma. The Hub of Hope, the UK’s first nationwide mental health database, is the brain child of Jake who has seen it through to fruition, with it launching in July 2017 to national acclaim.

Jake's work has seen him win the Positive Icon 2017 Award, twice shortlisted for a Pride of Merseyside Award and Rethink Mental Illness’ Janey Antoniou Award.

He is an ambassador for CALM and trustee of Young Persons Advisory Service. In 2015, Jake faced his biggest test as he became a father for the first time to his son, Teddy.
