Language processing firm Eigen appoints first CFO and new CRO

London- and New York based Eigen, a provider of natural language processing (NLP) tech, has appointed Spyros Karageorgis as its first Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Tony Ehrens as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
Both will join Eigen’s executive team, with Spyros based in London and Tony in New York.
The firm’s technology enables clients to and extract answers from the language in documents, with the goal of better managing risk, scaling operations, and navigating dynamic regulatory environments.
Karageorgis brings with him extensive experience at AI and SaaS companies, including most recently as the CFO & COO of Cortexica Vision Systems, an AI image recognition company.
Prior to Cortexica, he led the dual track exit and IPO of Venda, an online SaaS e-commerce platform, which resulted in the company’s sale to NetSuite.
He also served as the COO of MedicAnimal, a Balderton-backed online animal pharmacy.
Ehrens joins Eigen with twenty years’ experience in senior software sales roles, including extensive sales experience at AI and SaaS companies. He joins Eigen from robotic process automation business Kryon Systems, where he was General Manager and VP Sales, Americas. Before that he was SVP Global Sales for Smart Process Automation SaaS platform WorkFusion and SVP of Sales at Sitrion.
