A company specialising in capturing traffic and transport data has reported its first half year results.

Tracsis provides software designed to solve a variety of data capture, reporting and resource optimisation problems along with the provision of a range of associated professional services.

The Leeds-based listed group said that its revenues are expected to be ahead of the previous year 2018 by almost £1m.

Both adjusted profit and EBITDA for the six months through January were expected to be ahead of the previous year’s figures of £3.9m and £4.3m, respectively, the company said.

In January of this year the company acquired Irish data analytics company Compass for €6m and CEO John McArthur left the role of CEO to be replaced by Chris Barnes.

Tracsis is one of 101 companies listed on BusinessCloud’s ‘101 Yorkshire and Humberside Tech’ list.
