BusinessCloud is proud to publish the first names of its long-awaited '301 Female Tech Trailblazers' list.

Starting today, we are recognising the UK's most inspirational, innovative and impactful women who are shaking up the tech industry.

The list is made up of everybody from household names like Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams to inspirational women at the start of a journey in tech who have the potential to change the industry.

BusinessCloud initially sought out to create a list of '101 Female Tech Entrepreneurs' but we were inundated with nominations and recommendations - and a decision was made to extend the list.

The list has been published in the Q4 edition of BusinessCloud (subscribe here) and follows the success of our previous 100 Female Role Models and 101 Female Founders list, which attracted over four million impressions on Twitter.

The second two batches will be published on Tuesday 11th December and Wednesday 12th December, with the names appearing in alphabetical order.

If you'd like to share the list on social media, please use the hashtag #FemaleTech301

BusinessCloud editor Chris Maguire said: "Normally our lists contain 101 names but we had so many great names we decided to rip up the rule book.

"Only 17 per cent of people working in tech are women and BusinessCloud is determined to increase the number.

"We've made every effort to cross check the names but if you think we've missed someone please email me directly at chris.maguire@businesscloud.co.uk."
