Fans of Liverpool Football Club will soon benefit from faster and more efficient service after a new deal was signed.

The Reds signed a multi-year deal to make cloud communications provider Mitel its official global unified communications partner.

The new partnership will transform communication at Anfield and the club’s head offices, training grounds and retail facilities.

Communication with fans across all voice and digital platforms will be integrated in one place and, combined with Salesforce integration, service agents will benefit from deeper insights into each supporter’s engagement history and be able to offer a faster, more tailored fan experience.

The solution will improve security and reliability of the club’s services to fans as well as reduce waiting times.

The new cloud-based system will also ensure the club’s employees can communicate and collaborate from anywhere on any device.

“We are always looking for ways to enhance the experience that we provide to our supporters,” said Billy Hogan, managing director and chief commercial officer at Liverpool FC.

“With Mitel’s expertise, we will upgrade our technology and improve the speed and quality of our service.

“In addition, we will have the ability to introduce new channels and intelligent fan self-service capabilities.”
