Some of the biggest names in Liverpool’s technology sector will be discussing all things investment at an exclusive event next week.
The virtual event – entitled ‘The tech investment outlook for Liverpool City Region in 2021’ – is part of the latest LCR Tech Climbers List.

The event, which will be hosted by BusinessCloud’s executive editor Chris Maguire, will look at the impact of Covid-19 on investor appetite, especially in relation to technology, and the likely consequences of Brexit. It will also touch on the mindset of angel investors and the availability of private equity funding.
A total of 10 speakers have been confirmed including Carl Wong, CEO of LivingLens, which was acquired earlier this year by leading customer experience (CX) tech giant Medallia for $26m.
The other speakers are Daniel Reilly, director of Ruler Analytics; Raina Heverin, co-founder of Supplywell; Matt Latham, co-founder of Tickr ; Clemens Wangerin, managing director of vTime; Bod Buckby, Head of UK Primary Markets – North, London Stock Exchange; Alon Kuperman, executive director of GP Bullhound; Hannah Forbes, founder and consultant at The Funding Crowd; David Walters, Digital Investment Manager, MSIF; and Piers Dryden, partner of Brabners.
