London’s bespoke PropTech firm LIFENEST has announced a new collaboration and brand partnership with tech giant Apple.

The start-up, which is aiming to challenge London’s existing rental market through low fees and affordable rooms, will now operate its own Apple store in collaboration with the brand.

Via the start-up, tenants and shareholders of the business will now be able to shop for discounted products otherwise not available.

Founded in 2016, the firm said an exclusive discount of up to 20 per cent would be available on products such as its laptops for students and young professionals who use the platform to find their new home.

The start-up claims to have more than 200 students and young professionals on its platform, and provides a ‘tenant matching system’, which it claims uses algorithms and a “careful selection processes” to match up housemates.

25-year old CEO Mickael Seymour, who joined the firm in 2016, previously worked for Spotify as a student brand manager.

The fir said its successful customers can expect a personalised moving-in experience for tenants, airport pick-ups, kitchen utensils, and bedding packs.

The firm claims to have a multi-million pound property portfolio, and said its platform can handle the “whole housing search process from beginning to end.”

It has said it plans further ‘mass recruitment’ in the next two years alongside the company’s expansion into the US.
