Software firm Mobica posted record profits and turnover last year.

The Cheshire-based company announced that pre-tax profits climbed from £5 million to £10.3m in 2015, while turnover rose by £10m to £38.5m.

Mobica was founded in 2004 by Nick Stammers and Jon Clayton and is a software development and integration services specialist, serving the automotive and finance sectors among others.

It said the positive results came as a result of ongoing investment in its sales and delivery teams.

The business, which has offices in Poland, Silicon Valley and Mexico, has cited the Internet of Things and cloud computing as key to driving future growth.
