Technology

A bespoke learning environment for NHS professionals to connect with peers, share experiences and develop their skills has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.
The NHS England CCG Learning Environment is nominated in the Public Sector Website, App or Campaign category of the Dadi Awards – designed to “bring together individuals and companies at the forefront of digital”.
Website developer Clicky Media was chosen by NHS England back in September to design the new learning environment, to allow NHS Commissioners throughout England to share a range of information and resources. Since its inception, it has been hosted on UKFast servers.
The site was developed using the Zend Framework and is designed to be fully responsive, allowing easy use on any device or screen size.
Clicky Media founder and CEO Oliver Yeates said: “We’re delighted to be recognised with this prestigious nomination. Being integral to the development of a website that is going to make such a huge difference to the public sector is a great honour, and we can’t wait to find out if we’ve won!”
The website will go head to head against entries from Transport for Greater Manchester, Commonwealth Games – Glasgow 2014, Royal Navy and the Department for Education, at a ceremony in Westminster, London, on October 1.
